🇺🇸 Yesterday Mommy pulled off an itinerary with everything in it.
In the morning we went to the Classic Car Collection in Kearney, Nebraska. We were expecting a few restored classics, but the collection is so good it must be seen in person. I think the kids managed to take a picture of each and every car. I couldn’t help myself and ended up video calling my parents so they could see some of them.
After lunch we made good time driving to Omaha, Nebraska, where we visited Winter Quarters and the Kanesville Tabernacle, two Church history sites. There, missionaries gave us the tour and played some videos. We learned a lot about the story of the pioneers who lived where, at the time, was the United States frontier and took months to traverse with their families and handcarts what we’ve covered in three days. We’ve whined our way as part of a vacation; while they did it out of faith and obedience and actually had real stuff to whine about.
