🇨🇴 Me gustan los viajes por carretera, y creo que pocos países tienen un sistema de carreteras mejor diseñados para el viaje que vamos a hacer. Sin embargo, la noche anterior a este viaje se siente diferente.

No sé si mis papás alguna vez se sintieron así antes de un viaje largo con la familia. Todo esto—empacar, manejar, de un hotel a otro, y con niños—lo hemos hecho antes. Lo que no hemos hecho antes es enfrentar esta magnitud y estas variables. Nos esperan diez mil kilómetros y un itinerario sin paradas ni fechas fijas.

🇺🇸 I love road trips, and I think few countries have a network of roads better suited for our trip. However, the night prior to this trip feels different.

I don’t know if my parents ever felt like this just before a long family trip. All of this—the packing, the driving, going from one hotel to the next, and with kids—we’ve done it before. What we haven’t done before is to face this magnitude or these variables. Six-thousand miles and an itinerary without prescribed stops or dates await us.
